A fantastic bloom, but unfortunately it has proven so far to be difficult to root so plants are limited., Grafts well.

GROWER NOTES:
This 1989 introduction from renowned hybridizer Walter Homeyer along with the variegated version has proved to be the undisputed champion among the retics when it comes to winning shows. Not only is the bloom great but so is the plant, growing well outdoors in zone 8.

GROWER NOTES:
Introduced in 1989 when Marvin Jernigan introduced the variegation causing virus into a regular Frank Houser he got from friend & fellow hybridizer Walter Homeyer. The popularity of the variegated version has exceeded that of the regular Frank Houser. This plant is a little slower getting started but it too does well outside.
